Job summary

LiveOnNY seeks a Clinical QA Coordinator to perform quality assurance on organ and tissue donor records, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance across CMS, NYS, FDA, OPTN, and LiveOnNY policies.

The role involves coordination with donor hospitals, transplant centers, and external partners for record acquisition, corrections, and post-recovery follow-up, under the Senior Director of Quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience in healthcare, medical, or regulatory environment.
• Ability to work accurately with detailed clinical, technical, and regulatory information while maintaining confidentiality.
• Demonstrated organizational and time-management skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficiency with common computer applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Donor record review for accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance.
• Request records from donor hospitals, transplant hospitals, Medical Examiner offices, and other sources as needed.
• Coordinate internal record gathering with Medical Records Coordinators and staff.
• Assign and escalate record-correction tasks to appropriate departments.
• Maintain confidentiality and proper handling of donor records in line with policies and laws.
