Job summary

CSL Vifor is seeking a Plasma Center Support role focused on accurate sampling, testing, shipping and storage of donor plasma. You will report to the Assistant Center Manager and ensure proper unit handling per SOPs.

Responsibilities include maintaining sterility with heat sealers, verifying labels, and documenting donor data while adhering to OSHA/HSE policies. Some cross-training and bilingual capability may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of three months experience in laboratory or warehouse environment preferred or equivalent education/experience.
• Able to perform basic math calculations.
• Potential cross-training in other areas to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

• Collect plasma samples and move units to freezer to maintain quality.
• Store plasma units per SOPs and handle potentially unsuitable samples.
• Verify labeling accuracy by matching pre-printed and dynamic labels.
• Use sterile technique and heat sealer to preserve sterility and quality.
• Prepare shipping and unit disposal documentation as needed.
• Monitor freezer temperatures and report variances promptly.
• Record donor data in the electronic systems as required.
• Follow HSE and OSHA policies and maintain a clean workspace.
• Possibly cross-train in other areas as needed.
