Job summary

Urban Farming Institute (UFI) in Greater Boston seeks a Development Operations Coordinator to strengthen donor information systems and stewardship.

The role combines data management, donor relations, and administrative support across external relations, with a focus on timely acknowledgments and engagement.

Candidates should have 1+ years in development, nonprofit experience, and proficiency with MS Office; salary is $26.00–$29.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• 1+ years' experience in development and/or fundraising.
• Experience in the non-profit sector preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred and relevant experience required.
• Experience with fundraising software or similar databases strongly preferred.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in MS Office and Teams; able to learn other software quickly.
• Excellent research, writing and critical thinking skills.
• Able to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage gift entry and ensure protocols are followed.
• Prepare bank deposits in partnership with your manager.
• Produce donor reports and mailing lists.
• Refresh Constant Contact with donor data monthly.
• Support donor visits and engagement events.
• Assist with board meetings and correspondence.
• Perform other duties as requested by manager.
