Job summary

Urban Farming Institute of Boston (UFI) is seeking a Development Operations Coordinator to manage gift entry, donor relations, and data systems in our Boston-area program. This full-time role focuses on accurate gift processing, reporting, and coordinating donor communications to support community urban agriculture initiatives.

Responsibilities include data management in Little Green Light, generating donor reports, and assisting with donor engagement events.

Qualifications

• 1+ years’ experience in development and/or fundraising.
• Non-profit sector experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred and relevant experience required.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience with fundraising software or similar databases strongly preferred.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively and manage multiple deadlines.
• Proficient in MS Office and Teams; quick to learn other software.
• Excellent research, writing and critical thinking skills.
• Able to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage and enter gifts into Little Green Light and ensure protocols.
• Prepare bank deposits with your manager.
• Reconcile gifts monthly and assist with reporting.
• Generate donor reports and mailing lists.
• Maintain donor records and databases.
• Support donor visits and engagement events.
• Assist with board meetings and correspondence.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
