Job summary

Penn State University Park is seeking an Advancement Services Representative to support the Donor and Member Services office. The role focuses on maintaining donor and membership data, processing contributions and memberships, and generating official tax receipts.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; no prior relevant work experience required; previous related experience accepted in lieu of education.
• Candidates should be able to adapt to multiple donor and member data systems and processes.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the integrity of the donor and alumni database through accurate analysis, updates, and maintenance of biographical, membership, and financial information.
• Ensure backup information is created and stored for every associated transaction and troubleshoot forms and software as needed.
• Review and verify daily automated processes that create or update data in the donor and alumni database; address discrepancies and failed records.
• Serve as a primary point of contact via email, phone, and letter for donors, alumni, and internal teams on contributions, memberships, and receipts.
