Job summary

CSL Vifor is seeking a donor center registrar to greet donors, verify eligibility, and guide them through the screening and pheresis processes at our Tallahassee center.

Ideal candidates will have a High School diploma, 3+ months of clerical or customer service experience, and basic math skills. Training will cover SOPs, health screenings, and donor education. This role may involve bilingual communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of three months experience in clerical or customer service.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors at the plasma collection center and guide them through registration procedures.
• Assist donors in screening per SOPs, including health history and questions related to donation.
• Perform health screening procedures such as blood pressure, pulse, weight, temperature; finger stick for hematocrit and total protein.
• Educate donors on the donation process and center policies after training.
• Register and transfer donors as needed based on training and operational needs.
• Answer calls and route questions to appropriate staff.
• Monitor donors for any reactions during or after pheresis and notify staff.
• Record donor data accurately in the electronic donor information management system.
• Maintain confidentiality of donor and center information and keep a clean work environment.
• May be cross-trained in other areas and may require bilingual skills.
