Job summary

River Bend Food Bank is seeking a Donor Relations Manager to own a donor portfolio, cultivate relationships, and secure gifts. You will lead donor engagement, develop stewardship plans, and collaborate with marketing on impact reporting.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in donor relations, strong communication skills, and the ability to travel within the service area for events and donor engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nonprofit management, communications, business, or equivalent.
• 3–5 years in donor relations, fundraising, or nonprofit development.
• Proven success in managing donor portfolios and gifts.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and public speaking skills.
• Familiarity with donor management systems.
• Ability to travel within the service area; occasional overnight travel.
• Flexibility to work outside normal hours for events and fundraising.
• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record.
• Able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement donor retention, engagement, and recognition strategies.
• Own an assigned portfolio and cultivate, solicit, and steward relationships.
• Conduct prospect development for new donors and giving opportunities.
• Prioritize face-to-face donor engagement through visits and events.
• Apply moves management to advance donors through giving cycles.
• Meet activity and revenue goals and track progress.
