Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Mobile, AL seeks a part-time plasma donor screener and phlebotomist to support center operations. You will greet donors, screen donors, record vital signs, and coordinate donor compensation while ensuring safety and quality standards.

You will work varied shifts including weekends and holidays. A high school diploma and ability to lift up to 50 lbs are required; prior customer-facing experience is helpful. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
• Will work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., and occasional lifting up to 32 lbs.
• Experience in a customer-facing role is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, greet donors, and focus on donor safety and service.
• Screen new and repeat donors; take and record donor vital signs and finger stick results.
• Use the Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, maintain records, and coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and initiate changes to center procedures.
• Work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
