Job summary

Louisiana Bucket Brigade seeks an experienced Development Manager to advance its mission by growing annual giving, engaging donors, and coordinating campaigns focused on mid-level donors and major gifts. This full-time role emphasizes donor stewardship and data-driven fundraising in a lab- code environment.

Reporting to the Development Director, you will manage donor portfolios, supervise staff and volunteers, oversee CRM data entry, and produce regular performance reports.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of development experience with annual giving, donor relations, and solicitation.
• Strong verbal and written communication, including phone skills.
• Ability to work independently and pursue fundraising goals.
• Commitment to donor confidentiality.
• Commitment to racial justice, DEI, and inclusion.
• Willingness to receive regular feedback.
• Excellent organizational skills and multi-project management.
• Proficiency with MS Office and Bloomerang or similar CRM.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to provide three references.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and execute annual appeal campaigns (Giving Tuesday and GiveNOLA Day).
• Engage staff, board, and volunteers in peer-to-peer campaigns.
• Manage outreach and stewardship for monthly donors (LABB's giving program).
• Provide research and analysis to inform future outreach and strategies.
• Maintain donor portfolio and personalize cultivation for mid-level/major gifts potential.
• Supervise the Development Data Coordinator and volunteers in stewardship activities.
• Prepare reports on annual fund performance and metrics.
