Qualifications

• Two years of experience in nonprofit fundraising, development, event planning, communications, or a related field.
• Strong writing and speaking skills, including grant and donor writing.
• Comfort with public speaking and building relationships with donors, businesses, and community partners.

Responsibilities

• Plan and run fundraising events with timelines, budgets, sponsorships, volunteers, and vendors.
• Research private foundation, corporate, and community grant opportunities and prepare proposals and reports for approval.
• Maintain the grants calendar and donor database; send acknowledgments and manage donor stewardship calendar.
• Support the Executive Director in cultivating major, legacy, and capital campaign donors.
• Assist with annual appeals, giving days, and sponsorship requests from local businesses.
• Draft fundraising materials such as fact sheets, impact stories, donor updates, and brochures.
• Coordinate with marketing partner for social media, newsletters, and event promotion.
