Job summary

Partners In Health (PIH) is seeking an Associate Development Officer, Leadership Giving, to cultivate and steward a mid-level donor portfolio ($1,000–$25,000). You will design personalized communications, coordinate with leadership and other teams, and help upgrade donors into the major gifts program.

You will manage communications via email, mail, and phone, build a donor-centered strategy, and support retention and upgrades, with travel 10–20% and occasional evenings/weekends for events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience), 2-3 years experience working in a professional nonprofit fundraising environment or related industry.
• Proven capabilities with donors or clients, including experience soliciting gifts and executing donor stewardship and cultivation strategies.
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a dynamic portfolio of mid-level donors by designing and executing cultivation, solicitation and stewardship strategies to enhance retention and revenue.
• Build a strong pipeline for the major gifts team by qualifying, soliciting, and upgrading donors.
• Collaborate with planned giving and donor engagement teams to expand legacy society and donor engagement.
