Job summary

Rotary Foundation seeks an Annual Giving Officer to manage donor cultivation, develop fundraising strategies, and support the annual fund and PolioPlus initiatives. The role emphasizes collaboration with volunteers, major gifts staff, and trained outreach to diverse donor segments.

Hybrid work arrangement with flexible office presence in Evanston, IL; travel to engage donors and volunteers is expected as part of responsibilities. Fluency in Spanish is required for outreach and consultations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree; Advanced degree preferred.
• Professional fluency in Spanish, both written and verbal to conduct presentations and provide consultation.
• Experience in development, including identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of donors or comparable experience.
• Experience with public speaking before small and large audiences.
• Computer literacy with Microsoft Office, video conferencing (Zoom) and fundraising databases (Raiser's Edge preferred).
• Strong inter-personal skills and commitment to customer service.
• Knowledge of a second language is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Develop fundraising strategies and resources for donor cultivation and programs.
• Coordinate and implement Annual Giving fundraising strategies to increase donor acquisition and recurring giving.
• Prepare resources and trainings on fundraising best practices for volunteer leadership.
• Collaborate with major and planned giving staff to upgrade giving levels.
• Create and utilize communication tools including reports, letters, marketing strategies, and donor correspondence.
