Job summary

Rotary International in Evanston, IL is seeking an Annual Giving Officer to advance donor cultivation and fundraising strategies across a regional portfolio. The role supports the Annual Giving team and partners with major and planned giving staff to grow the Rotary Foundation donor pipeline.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree (advanced degree preferred), is fluent in Spanish, and brings experience in donor outreach, public speaking, and the use of Raiser's Edge and Microsoft Office

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Professional fluency in Spanish (written and verbal).
• Experience in donor identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship.
• Public speaking experience before varied audiences.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Zoom, and Raiser's Edge.
• Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to donors.
• Second language knowledge helpful.

Responsibilities

• Develop fundraising strategies and resources.
• Coordinate and implement Annual Giving strategies in territory.
• Prepare training materials and resources for volunteers.
• Collaborate with major and planned giving staff to upgrade gifts.
• Create donor communications and progress reports.
• Engage regional volunteers with meetings and outreach.
