Job summary

Custom Staffing is assisting a nonprofit organization in New York, NY by placing a Gift Processing Coordinator for a three-month, on-site temporary assignment. The role runs Monday–Friday, 9:00 am–5:30 pm, with a pay rate of $28.00 per hour.

The Coordinator will process and review gifts, ensure accurate data entry, handle special gift requirements (tribute/memorial), respond to donor inquiries, and support reconciliations and reporting improvements with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in gift processing or related administrative support roles.
• Familiarity with reconciliation processes.
• Experience maintaining accurate records in databases.

Responsibilities

• Process and review gifts with timely and accurate data entry.
• Maintain high data accuracy and coding consistency.
• Manage special gift handling, including tribute and memorial gifts.
• Assist with donor inquiries and provide timely responses.
• Support reconciliation and collaborate with Revenue and Gift Processing teams.
• Contribute to efficient procedures and cross-functional workflow improvements.
• Work with Data Systems and Knowledge team to optimize reporting.
• Participate in special projects to improve operations.
