Job summary

Coastal Community Foundation seeks a Philanthropic Advising Officer to manage donor relationships and guide strategic giving across Coastal South Carolina. Reporting to the Director of Philanthropic Advising, you will develop engagement plans, cultivate gifts, and coordinate donor experiences with cross-functional teams.

You will work with fundholders, families, businesses, and donors, aligning philanthropic goals with community needs across Beaufort, Hampton, Jasper, and Colleton counties,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum five years of experience in philanthropy, fundraising, donor relations, or related field.
• Experience with high-net-worth individuals and community foundations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary relationship manager for donor portfolio.
• Provide personalized philanthropic advising aligned with donor goals.
• Develop cultivation, engagement, stewardship, and solicitation strategies.
• Maintain understanding of donor objectives and fund priorities.
• Guide donors through conversations and opportunities.
• Coordinate donor meetings, site visits, and educational experiences.
• Collaborate across departments to deliver exceptional donor experiences.
• Maintain documentation in CRM and ensure compliance with policies.
