Job summary

Goodwill Industries of El Paso, Inc. is seeking a Donor Greeter to welcome donors, assist with donations, unload merchandise, pre-sort items, and transfer goods to sorting areas. The role includes transporting merchandise to the sales floor and stocking shelves while providing tax receipts.

The position emphasizes collaboration with coworkers and supporting individuals with disabilities or disadvantaged persons as part of rehabilitation services, maintaining safety and policy standards.

Qualifications

• No experience required.
• Ability to give good customer service and be friendly and polite.
• Ability to read, write and speak English (preferred) and have a basic math aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors within 10 seconds in a courteous manner; assist in unloading donations from vehicles, offers tax receipts, and maintains accurate daily donor counts.
• Keep the donation area neat, clean, and well organized according to Kaizen procedures to ensure donors perceive value.
• Pre-sort hard goods and textiles into designated handling equipment; transport to sorting areas as needed.
• Maintain breakdown area in a neat condition, attend meetings and training, and assist in other areas as requested.
