Job summary

New York Blood Center in New York is seeking a Donor Services Associate to deliver exceptional donor service across mobile units and donor centers. You will rebook appointments, educate donors on the donation process, and enroll them in frequent donor programs to boost retention.

You will manage donor flow, monitor wait times, assist with front desk tasks, and help with promotions, surveys, and data reporting. Travel across New York City is required to support mobile units and donor centers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in operational/administrative support, sales, marketing, or customer service.
• Must have a car and valid driver’s license and be willing to travel.

Responsibilities

• Welcome donors with outstanding customer service at mobile units or donor centers.
• Input and update donor demographics in BECS to create barcodes.
• Educate donors on donation types based on inventory needs.
• Handle front desk tasks and monitor donor flow and wait times.
• Assist donors with online portal navigation and appointment rescheduling.
• Promote promotional items and participate in on-site drives and campus events.
• Prepare shift summary reports and support telemarketing for drives.
