Goodwill Industries of Northeast Indiana, Inc. is seeking Donation Attendants for our Fort Wayne stores. You will welcome donors, receive donations, issue tax receipts, and help sort items for pricing and display. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and a friendly, helpful demeanor in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Answers the donation door as soon as the buzzer rings.
• Unloads donations for the donor and handles donations in a professional manner while bringing them inside.
• Distributes tax receipts.
• Processes donations efficiently
• Accurately prices and moves merchandise directly to staging areas.
• Assists in maintaining safety and security of donated merchandise.
• Uses hand truck, pallet jack or flat carts to move donations or customer items for pickup.
• Keeps area clean and organized during and at end of shift.
• Follows all safety rules and practices.
• Heavy lifting, pushing and pulling required.
• Performs all other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor in the process of carrying out the mission of Goodwill Industries of Northeast Indiana, Inc.
