Job summary

The Arnold Arboretum of Harvard University invites applications for an Individual Giving Associate to join the Advancement team in Boston. You will plan and execute identification, engagement, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of members and donors, advancing them along the giving ladder and supporting the Sesquicentennial Campaign.

You will work to identify prospects, formalize bequest intentions with Harvard Planned Giving, and manage member benefits and events from Community Member

Qualifications

• Passion for working directly with donors and members.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to utilize data to inform decisions and increase philanthropic engagement.

Responsibilities

• Identify, engage, cultivate, solicit, and steward members and donors across giving levels.
• Support and implement moves management to move donors up the giving ladder.
• Plan and execute donor recognition circles and member events from Community Member to $10,000 levels.
• Collaborate with Planned Giving efforts to map bequest intentions with Harvard’s Planned Giving office.
