Job summary

Babson College seeks an Assistant Director, Annual Giving to cultivate, solicit, and steward donors across annual giving initiatives. You will work with alumni and constituencies to deliver a premier donor experience and drive data-informed campaigns.

The role emphasizes donor retention, recurring giving, athletics campaigns, and close collaboration with the Annual Giving team. On-site work in Massachusetts with a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 4–6 years fundraising or related experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and work independently and with multiple constituencies.
• Strong customer service orientation and attention to detail with data accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems, especially Excel.
• Familiarity with Salesforce and related fundraising platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute donor stewardship strategies for first-time and recurring donors.
• Design personalized acknowledgment touchpoints and impact-focused outreach.
• Collaborate to ensure differentiated donor experiences and effective appeals.
• Lead multi-channel campaigns (email, mail, text, social) and track performance metrics.
• Serve as an internal advocate for AI tools and tech-enabled fundraising workflows.
• Maintain and analyze donor data in Salesforce, monitor gift activity and engagement.
