Job summary

Cal State East Bay's Donor Engagement Officer role is a frontline fundraising position reporting to the Senior Director of Development. You will expand the donor pipeline, manage alumni and donor relationships, and cultivate prospects capable of giving annual gifts typically between $1,000 and $15,000.

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university is required.
• Experience in fundraising, advancement, alumni or donor relations, sales, or relationship building.
• Ability to develop clear donor communications and manage a donor portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage a portfolio of alumni, donors, and prospects with annual gifts $1,000–$15,000.
• Identify and qualify donors, solicit gifts, and steward donor relationships.
• Collaborate with University Advancement on donor communications and campaigns.
• Record donor interactions and track progress in the advancement database.
