Girl Scouts of Northern Illinois is seeking a Fund Development Gifts Manager in Aurora, IL to secure philanthropic support from individuals, corporations, and foundations. You will manage a donor portfolio, oversee annual giving and stewardship, and supervise staff to ensure effective fundraising operations.

The role requires 3–5 years in nonprofit fundraising, strong donor engagement skills, and the ability to work 37.5 hours weekly, with occasional evenings or weekends.

Qualificações

• Minimum of 3–5 years of progressive fundraising, donor relations, or nonprofit management experience.
• Strong understanding of fundraising principles and donor engagement.
• Ability to work 37.5 hours per week; weekends and evenings may be necessary.
• Excellent interpersonal and networking skills.
• Experience with donor databases and Microsoft Office.

Responsabilidades

• Manage a portfolio of individual, corporate, and foundation donors and prospects.
• Develop and execute cultivation, solicitation, stewardship and retention strategies that increase philanthropic support.
• Conduct donor visits, meetings, presentations and engagement opportunities to build meaningful relationships and secure gifts.
• Collaborate with senior leadership and volunteer leaders on major gift cultivation and solicitation strategies.
• Support planned giving, endowment, and legacy giving initiatives as assigned.
• Identify, qualify, and develop new donor prospects through research, networking, and community outreach.
• Prepare proposals, solicitation materials, gift agreements, and stewardship reports
