Job summary

Ignite in Chicago is seeking an Associate Director of Individual Giving to lead and grow our donor program, with a focus on mid-level donors, recurring supporters, and a developing major gifts pipeline. You will work closely with the Senior Director of Development to design meaningful donor experiences and strategic engagement plans.

Manage and grow Ignite's individual giving program, focusing on mid-level donors and recurring supporters.
Develop strategies to increase donor retention, upgrades, and engagement.
Create segmented outreach plans for annual donors, recurring donors, event supporters, and emerging major donors.
Identify opportunities to deepen donor relationships through personalized communication.
Lead stewardship to connect donors with the impact of their support.
Coordinate donor communications including thank-you letters, impact updates, invitations, and special outreach.
Support major donor pipeline development and moves management in Salesforce.
Maintain donor records and analyze giving trends to inform strategy.
Collaborate across departments on campaigns and donor engagement events.
