Job summary

The Development Manager at YWCA Greater Pittsburgh leads individual giving strategies, donor engagement and stewardship, and multichannel fundraising campaigns. You will work with the Development Team to increase donor retention and acquisition, craft proposals and reports, and ensure well-documented donor records.

This exempt role requires a bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years of nonprofit fundraising experience, with evening/weekend availability and strong written and verbal communication skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3–5 years of fundraising/nonprofit development experience.
• Strong donor engagement and stewardship skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute individual giving strategies to grow donor base.
• Cultivate and maintain donor relationships and stewardship.
• Plan multichannel annual fundraising campaigns (direct mail, email, social media, events).
• Solicit donors and manage donor recognition, impact reports, and engagement workflows.
• Assist in creating proposals, narratives, and reports.
• Support events logistics and day-of coordination for fundraising activities.
• Ensure accurate donor records and generate progress reports.
