Job summary

ALLIES in Pittsburgh seeks a Development Manager to advance fundraising, donor engagement, grant writing, and stewardship. Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to write clear, persuasive, and donor-centered communications.
• Experience with donor databases, CRM systems, or fundraising software.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage deadlines, details, and multiple priorities.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with diverse stakeholders.
• Commitment to confidentiality, ethical fundraising practices, and donor-centered stewardship.
• Knowledge of healthcare, human services, HIV services, public health, LGBTQ+ communities, or community-based nonprofit work preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation of the organization’s fundraising plan, including donor stewardship and campaigns.
• Manage a portfolio of donors and prospects, including cultivation and solicitation.
• Prepare donor-facing communications and stewardship materials.
• Contribute to strategies to retain, upgrade, and re-engage donors.
• Support donor recognition efforts and ensure timely stewardship.
