Job summary

Abercrombie & Kent USA is seeking a Development Manager to lead philanthropy, donor engagement, and fundraising operations from our Downers Grove, IL office. The role builds AKP's donor development program, creates best practices, and expands support for conservation, education, health, and community initiatives.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in nonprofit fundraising, strong donor relations, and CRM expertise to drive strategic gifts and multi-year commitments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 5+ years nonprofit fundraising including major gifts/grants.
• Experience building donor engagement and fundraising pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop donor strategies and engagement plans for AKP initiatives.
• Grow annual giving and major gift pipelines across donors and foundations.
• Manage eTapestry donor CRM, reports, and stewardship materials.
• Collaborate with teams to translate project data into donor-ready cases.
