Job summary

VOA Northern California & Northern Nevada is seeking a Development and Community Engagement Manager for our Reno program. This on-site role focuses on donor engagement, fundraising strategy, and community partnerships to expand support and awareness of VOA's mission in Northern Nevada.

The ideal candidate will have 5–7 years of fundraising experience, strong donor-relations skills, and a passion for serving families, veterans, seniors, and youth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree is desired.
• Five to seven years of fundraising experience with proven success in identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding individual donors and corporate partners.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a donor- and community-centered fundraising strategy to grow and retain the individual donor base and increase annual philanthropic revenue.
• Identify, cultivate, solicit, steward, and retain individual donors across all giving levels.
• Manage a portfolio of donors and prospects, prioritizing relationship-building and donor retention.
• Work with leadership to set annual fundraising goals and monitor progress toward giving and in-kind support.
• Cultivate relationships with businesses, community organizations, volunteers, and other stakeholders to expand support and partnerships.
