Job summary

Volunteers of America Colorado is seeking a Development Manager in Grand Junction, CO to advance major gifts and donor partnerships. The role is full-time (40 hours/week with occasional evenings and weekends) and focuses on cultivating a portfolio of 100+ donors with gifts of $1,000+.

You will design fundraising plans, coordinate meetings with VOA leaders and board members, and track moves-management through Salesforce, ensuring stewardship and revenue growth for the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience required.
• Strong writing, editing and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with donor data management and CRM preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of gift prospects ($1,000+), designing cultivation, solicitation and stewardship activities.
• Prepare a comprehensive annual fundraising plan with goals and budget for major gifts.
• Arrange meetings between prospects and VOA Colorado leadership and Board members.
• Monitor gift solicitation pipeline to meet annual commitments; report moves in Salesforce.
