Job summary

ASC's Overnight Summer Camp in Austin, TX seeks a Development Operations Specialist to steward donor data, ensure accurate gift processing, and deliver actionable fundraising insights. You will manage Raiser's Edge, Classy, and QuickBooks data, producing reports for staff and board while supporting donor engagement year-round.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a donor CRM (Raiser’s Edge or similar).
• Strong understanding of gift processing, pledges, acknowledgements, and fundraising data flows.
• Experience in donor data management, reporting and analytics.
• Strong communication skills for training and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Manage donor database (Raiser’s Edge) ensuring accuracy and proper coding.
• Process and acknowledge gifts; ensure tax receipts and stewardship standards.
• Generate regular development reports and dashboards for staff and board.
• Conduct wealth screening to support donor pipeline development.
• Maintain data health through audits, clean-up, and enrichment strategies.
• Support campaign segmentation and list-building for appeals, newsletters, and events.
• Train staff on database best practices and usage.
• Collaborate with the Chief Development Officer to track campaign progress and donor engagement.
• Ensure data protection, privacy, and gift processing standards.
• Maintain data consistency between Raiser's Edge, Classy, and QuickBooks.
• Create and send invoices for open gifts and pledges; secure updated payment information for lapsed gifts.
• Stay current on CRM features, data management best practices, and emerging technology tools.
