Job summary

Austin Sunshine Camps seeks a Development Operations Specialist to ensure donor data integrity, process gifts, and generate actionable fundraising reports. You will oversee wealth screening, data health, and enrichment to inform strategy, collaborating with the Chief Development Officer to track campaign progress.

Ideal candidates bring nonprofit data/fundraising experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to train staff while maintaining compliance with privacy and gift-processing

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in nonprofit operations, data, or fundraising support.
• Direct experience with donor CRM systems (Raiser's Edge or similar).
• Experience in data reporting, analytics, and donor communications.

Responsibilities

• Manage donor database (Raiser's Edge) with accuracy and proper coding.
• Process gifts and issue tax receipts in a timely manner.
• Generate development reports and dashboards for staff/board.
• Conduct wealth screening to support donor pipeline development.
• Train staff on database best practices and usage.
• Ensure data protection, privacy, and gift processing standards.
