Job summary

Urban Farming Institute of Boston (UFI) seeks a Development Operations Coordinator to manage donor data and streamline fundraising processes. This full-time, year-round role is based in Greater Boston and reports to the Deputy Executive Director.

You will handle gift entries, acknowledgments, reporting, and support donor relations, events, and board activities. Strong writing, organization, and nonprofit experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred and relevant experience required.
• Experience in development and/or fundraising in the non-profit sector preferred.
• Excellent communication, writing, and critical thinking skills.
• Experience with fundraising software or similar databases strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage gift entry in Little Green Light; enter and reconcile donations.
• Prepare deposits; generate donor reports and mailing lists.
• Oversee donor acknowledgments and correspondence; respond to inquiries.
• Support donor visits, events, intern supervision, and board meetings.
• Maintain filing systems; update donor data and policies.
