Job summary

The American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) Foundation is seeking a Data Administration Manager to oversee donor data, gifts, pledges, and related acknowledgments while supporting scholarship and grant programs. The role requires collaboration across teams to ensure data integrity and efficient operations.

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Scholarships & Grants, you will manage the donor database, drive data-informed decisions, and help streamline workflows in a hybrid work environment

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in CRM database management; nonprofit/fundraising experience preferred.
• Experience with Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT preferred.
• Experience in grants management a plus with focus on post-award management & support.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to identify patterns from data and use them to inform decisions.

Responsibilities

• Manage the donor database and ensure accurate data entry and processing of donor contributions.
• Coordinate timely acknowledgment of gifts, pledges, payments, matching gifts, memorial & tribute donations, stock gifts, and in-kind contributions.
• Provide operational support for scholarship and grant programs, tracking awards and distributing financial awards.
• Ensure compliance with internal processes and legal reporting requirements.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to streamline workflows and support donor engagement and program delivery.
