Job summary

Octapharma Plasma, Inc. seeks a dedicated team member to determine donor eligibility, collect plasma, and process products while maintaining strict regulatory compliance. You will support donor care, document procedures, and ensure safety through accurate testing and equipment handling.

The role requires strong attention to detail, excellent customer service, and the ability to operate plasmapheresis equipment safely. Bilingual communication is a plus and weekend/evening shifts may be required.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Preference for 3 months clerical or customer service experience.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus depending on location.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with state, federal, and industry regulations to maintain production standards.
  • Maintain high levels of customer service, donor confidentiality, and donor experience.
  • Monitor donor conditions and perform eligibility assessments to ensure safety and product quality.
  • Set up and operate automated plasmapheresis equipment; respond to alarms and disconnect donors after procedure.
  • Perform plasma collection and processing, including sterile products and sample handling.
  • Monitor freezer and refrigerator temperatures; report malfunctions and document variances.
  • Maintain donor center cleanliness, proper stocking, and safe disposal of biohazardous waste.
  • Maintain quality control on donor center equipment and recordkeeping.
  • Provide oversight of product safety and quality during collection and handling.
  • Troubleshoot machine issues and perform routine quality checks.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
