Job summary

Goodwill of North Georgia is seeking a dedicated team member to thoroughly examine and grade donated goods for sale in retail stores. The role requires processing donations quickly while following standard operating procedures.

Responsibilities include sorting donations, providing receipts, assisting drivers, and maintaining a clean donation area. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and be 18+ with basic math/reading and English communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1+ years of production experience preferred.
• Must have basic math and reading skills.
• Must have good oral and written communication skills in English and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to work at any Goodwill ADC within the territory as needed.
• Must be 18 or older to operate a forklift.

Responsibilities

• Always display a professional, patient, and "people first" attitude with guests.
• Provide a donation receipt to each guest at the time of donating.
• Adequately handle guest questions and resolve problems by following procedures.
• Properly sort donations into designated categories.
• Assist truck drivers with loading/unloading donations.
• Maintain a neat, clean and organized donor door area/ADC location.
• Follow safety and security practices and report hazards.
