Job summary

Goodwill of North Georgia is hiring for an hourly position at our Buford location. You will inspect and grade donated items, process them efficiently, and help maintain a clean donor area while following safety rules.

This role supports our mission to help local job seekers through donations and sales from our 100+ locations. The job requires a High School Diploma or GED (preferred), basic math and reading skills, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• One year or more (1+) of production experience preferred.
• Must have basic math and reading skills.
• Must have good oral and written communication skills in English as well as interpersonal skills.
• Must be 18 years or older to operate a forklift.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly examine and grade donated goods to sell in Goodwill stores.
• Process goods in an accelerated manner to meet production goals.
• Sort donations into designated categories.
• Provide a donation receipt at the time of donating.
• Maintain a neat, clean donor area and follow safety practices.
