Job summary

Octapharma Plasma, Inc. is seeking a Center Operations Leader in Charlotte to support daily donor center operations and ensure training compliance.

You will assist Center leadership with planning and executing training and operations while ensuring regulatory adherence. The role focuses on supervising staff, maintaining certifications, and driving process improvements to meet safety, quality, and production goals within a highly regulated environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree or up to 3 years of related experience preferred.
• 1–3 years of operations and/or process management/supervisory experience preferred.
• Three years of people management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations (FDA SOPs, OSHA, CLIA, GMP).
• Host and support internal and external audits and drive CAPAs.
• Maintain training certifications, licenses, and audit records.
• Mentor staff and enforce safety, health, environmental, and quality policies.
• Manage donor center facilities, assets, and equipment for cleanliness and readiness.
• Oversee inventory management, procurement efficiency, and PO submission.
• Safeguard product integrity and storage processes per SOPs.
• Analyze operational KPIs to drive production, cost optimization, and quality.
• Lead performance management including appraisals and development plans.
• Foster a positive, inclusive workplace aligned with values and HR policies.
• Manage payroll records, scheduling, and staff allocation.
• Cultivate donor relationships and collaborate with corporate on marketing.
• Lead routine staff and leadership meetings.
• Coordinate corrective/preventive actions with corporate and vendors.
