Job summary

Octapharma Plasma, Inc. is seeking a healthcare-qualified professional to evaluate donor eligibility for automated plasmapheresis and to administer immunizations per state regulations and SOPs.

The role includes limited emergency care, training duties, and ensuring compliance with cGMP and regulatory guidelines. Key responsibilities include documenting donor information, monitoring for adverse reactions, and consulting with the center physician on abnormal results.

Qualifications

• Must hold a recognized healthcare degree (RN/LPN/MD) and be licensed.
• EMT certification/licensure is required if allowed by state.
• CPR certification is required or in-progress where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate donor eligibility via medical history reviews and physical assessments in line with SOPs and regulatory guidelines.
• Review and document donor information, immunization records, and test results in NexLynk.
• Classify donors into programs and monitor for adverse reactions; provide care per training/licensure.
• Consult with center Licensed Physician on abnormal results and eligibility concerns.
• Counsel deferred donors and refer to health departments when needed.
• Maintain accurate Physician Communications Logs and eligibility assessments.
• Train as Donor Center Technician I and serve as QA Backup when needed.
• Mentor and train new Medical Professionals as a designated trainer.
