Octapharma Plasma, Inc. is seeking a Donor Center professional to evaluate donor eligibility and administer immunizations in line with state rules and SOPs. The role requires clinical oversight, participation in emergency care when needed, and close collaboration with physicians and regulatory teams.

The position involves documenting donor information in NexLynk, ensuring test results meet cGMP standards, and mentoring new staff while supporting center QA and compliance initiatives.

Competenze

• Graduate of a recognized healthcare-related educational program (e.g., Physician, Nurse, EMT).
• Currently licensed/certified as a physician, RN, LPN, or EMT as allowed by state.
• One year hospital, field care, or plasma center experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification and state-appropriate licensure to perform moderate complexity testing.

Mansioni

• Evaluate donor eligibility through medical history reviews, physical assessments, and informed consent discussions in accordance with SOPs, FDA, CLIA, and cGMP.
• Review, document, and verify donor information, immunization records, and test results in the donor management system NexLynk.
• Classify donors into appropriate programs and monitor for adverse reactions, providing care as allowed by training and licensure.
• Consult with the center Licensed Physician regarding abnormal results, donor eligibility concerns, and immunization orders.
• Counsel deferred donors, ensure confidentiality, and refer donors to health departments when needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation such as Physician Communication Logs and donor eligibility assessments.
• Train as a Donor Center Technician I and serve as a QA Backup when needed.
• Mentor and train new Medical Professionals as a Designated Trainer to support workforce development.
• Support center compliance with SOPs, quality systems, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure an efficient, donor-focused environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
