Job summary

Goodwill of North Georgia is seeking a Donor Specialist for a part-time role at the Morrow location. You will examine and process donated goods, ensuring quality for resale while delivering friendly guest service.

The position emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and safety, with duties including providing donation receipts, sorting items, and supporting staff in a fast-paced environment. Compensation is $13.50 per hour with benefits for staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• One year or more of production experience preferred.
• Good oral and written communication in English.
• Ability to operate a forklift (18+).

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly examine and grade donated goods to sell in Goodwill Retail stores.
• Process goods in an accelerated manner to meet production goals in a fast-paced environment.
• Provide a donation receipt to each guest at the time of donating.
• Handle guest questions and resolve problems by following procedures.
• Properly sort donations into designated categories.
• Maintain a neat, clean donor door area and participate in trainings.
