Job summary

Vitalant in Memphis, TN is seeking a Lead Mobile Phlebotomist to guide a donor care team and ensure safe, comfortable blood donation experiences. You will lead blood drives on buses and support on-site collection at centers, delivering high-quality donor care daily.

Responsibilities include coaching staff, coordinating equipment setup, serving as main contact for drive coordinators, and supervising Donor Care Technicians.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Active driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to complete and pass CDL license program.
• Two years phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Function as an operational lead, coaching staff in phlebotomy processes.
• Serve as primary on-site contact for blood drive coordinators.
• Coordinate setup and breakdown of equipment for mobile drives.
• Ensure donor comfort and clear information during phlebotomy.
• Assist supervisor with direction of Donor Care Technicians and evaluations.
• Drive company vehicles to drive sites.

Your impact as a Lead Mobile Phlebotomist is vital . You will assist Vitalant's donor care team as a lead in creating comfortable, convenient, and consistent blood donation experiences for our donor volunteers, most days you'll conduct a blood drive around town in one of our buses; other days you'll interact with donors at one of our local donation centers. Every day you will help save lives and have a vital impact on your community.

Schedule:

Sunday - Saturday variable hours with 2 days off

Base Pay:

$25.18 - $26.02 / Hour

Responsibilities and Requirements

• Function as an operational lead, supporting staff with interviewing and phlebotomy processes, and providing coaching when needed.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for blood drive coordinators on-site
• Coordinate the set up and breakdown of equipment for mobile blood drives.
• Ensure the comfort and information of blood donors during phlebotomy process.
• Assist the Manager or Supervisor in providing direction and/or supervision of Donor Care Technicians, providing input for employee performance evaluations.
• Drive company vehicles including vans, buses to drive sites
• High School Diploma or GED
• Active driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to complete and pass CDL license program
• Ability to travel as required
• Successful completion of supervisory training program within six months
• Two years phlebotomy experience preferred
