Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Beaumont, TX is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our plasma donation center team. You will greet donors, perform venipuncture and plasmapheresis setup, monitor donors, and ensure accurate data entry into the DIS.

The role supports center operations and focuses on donor safety and service. The position requires a high school diploma, flexibility for evenings/ weekends, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
• Willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift to 5 lbs., and occasional lifting up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors as they enter and exit the donor floor.
• Perform venipuncture and programming of plasmapheresis machines.
• Monitor donors during donation and manage donor reactions.
• Setup, verify, operate, and troubleshoot plasmapheresis equipment within training scope.
• Install, prime, and disconnect disposable sets on plasmapheresis machines.
• Stock supplies and assist with disposal of materials.
• Record donor metrics (pulse, BP, temperature) and document in DIS.
• Enter donor information into the Donor Information System (DIS).
• Coordinate donors to the donor floor and compensate donors using the Debit Card system.
• Support center management in identifying operational improvements using 5S, Value Stream Mapping and Kaizen.
