Zusammenfassung

Bloodworks is seeking an Associate Blood Collection Specialist in Renton, WA. You will perform whole-blood procedures on donors, monitor safety, and ensure donor experience meets quality standards. The role includes 8 weeks of paid on-the-job training.

You will contribute to a safe blood supply and interact with donors and teammates in a professional, compliant environment. Flexible shifts and travel within a 50-mile radius may be required.

Qualifikationen

• High School education or GED equivalent required.
• At least one year of strong customer service experience.
• Healthcare and blood banking experience is a plus.
• Must have a valid State Driver's License with a clean driving record for at least 2.5 years.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods and lift up to 60 pounds.

Aufgaben

• Screen and vital signs of potential donors and evaluate eligibility.
• Answer donor questions to ensure informed consent.
• Perform donor identification and label blood components for venipunctures.
• Perform whole blood collection procedures on donors.
• Monitor donors with adverse reactions to the donation process.
• Document and perform quality controls to uphold FDA standards.
