Job summary

MEP Health is seeking a Donor Support Associate to assist with blood collection at community donation sites. You will transport and set up equipment, welcome donors, and ensure safety protocols are followed.

The role requires a high school diploma, customer service experience, a valid driver’s license, and physical stamina. Paid training is provided and benefits include health plans, PTO, holidays, retirement plans, and more.

Qualifications

Role Overview: This position involves utilizing healthcare and customer service skills to support blood collection processes. Responsibilities include collaborating with team members to transport and set up equipment at community donation sites, creating a welcoming environment for donors, and adhering to safety protocols during blood collection to ensure safe, transfusable blood supplies.

Key Duties

• Engage with donors to communicate the impact of their donations.
• Help maintain a friendly atmosphere to encourage repeat donations.
• Ensure accurate and detailed collection procedures meeting regulatory standards.
• Assist with vehicle operation and equipment setup/takedown at donation sites.

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Customer service experience and effective communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Physical ability to lift heavy weights, stand or sit for extended periods, and adapt to irregular hours.
• Basic computer proficiency, especially with Microsoft Office.

Preferred Experience: Healthcare or phlebotomy experience (e.g., CNA, MA, EMT) and leadership background.
