Job summary

Habitat for Humanity – Spokane is seeking a Warehouse Ambassador who will handle receipt, evaluation, and pricing of donated items. You will lead volunteers, arrange duties, and supervise pickups in the Spokane area, reporting to the Store Warehouse Manager.

forklift certification is needed after training; you will also process sales and payments at the POS. The role requires strong communication, a year of related experience, and the ability to lift 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and community representation.
• Minimum 1 year in customer service, warehouse or sales.
• Ability to lead, supervise and train volunteers or groups.
• Knowledge of general merchandising techniques and store procedures.
• Forklift training or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• High school diploma or GED; valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds routinely.

Responsibilities

• Receive, evaluate, and price donated items.
• Lead and train volunteers; assign duties.
• Drive donation truck for pickups and transport to warehouse.
• Unload, process, price, and move merchandise to sales floor.
• Ensure safety and report hazards; participate in safety program.
• Operate or arrange forklift as needed and obtain certification.
• Process sales transactions using a point-of-sale system; handle payments.
