Job summary

Austin Habitat for Humanity is seeking a ReStore Warehouse Associate to receive, sort, process and price donated merchandise in a fast-paced warehouse. This role ensures timely movement of goods to the sales floor and provides exceptional donor service while supporting store operations.

Responsibilities include unloading donations, using forklift/pallet jack, maintaining donation records, and expediting merchandise to the floor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 4 years of related experience.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional donor service; greet donors and issue receipts.
• Safely unload donations and operate warehouse equipment (forklift, pallet jack, dollies).
• Sort, process and price merchandise according to company standards.
• Maintain donation records and oversee recycling bins.
• Expedite merchandise to the sales floor promptly.
• Assist with loading/unloading trucks and housekeeping duties.
• Cross train and assist in other store functions as needed.
• Work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
• Comply with security and organizational policies.
