Job summary

Habitat for Humanity Spokane is seeking a Warehouse Ambassador to manage donation intake, pricing, and storage. You will lead volunteers, drive to pickups, and help process sales on the floor with a focus on safety and accuracy.

Responsibilities include freight handling, forklift operation, and maintaining strong community relations while ensuring efficient warehouse operations. A high school diploma and valid license are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Customer service experience preferred and helpful.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain it within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Drive donation truck to residences within the Spokane area to pick up donations and secure items.
• Assist in unloading, pricing, and moving product to the sales floor.
• Screen donations for hazardous or non-saleable items and disposal costs.
• Determine fair market value of donations using available resources.
• Participate in safety training and report hazards to improve safety.
• Develop and implement improvements with warehouse manager for receiving.
• Operate forklift to stock or unload goods and process sales at POS.
