Job summary

The Salvation Army is seeking a full-time, on-site driver/donor loader in Albuquerque. You will load donations, drive the truck to designated pickup/drop locations, and unload items for distribution while maintaining vehicle cleanliness and accurate records.

Qualifications include a High School diploma, a valid NM driver’s license, ability to lift 50 pounds, and passing the fleet driving test. This role requires 21+ years of age and background check clearance.

Qualifications

• Must be able to safely drive a two ton truck and operate a liftgate.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Must pass The Salvation Army’s online fleet driving test.
• Employment contingent upon successful background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist in loading truck, then drive to pickup/drop off locations.
• Accept donations from the general public and load onto truck.
• Assist in unloading and distribute goods to designated areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and security of donated items and trucks.
• Transport beneficiaries to work therapy assignments as required.
• Keep driver logs and report accidents promptly.
