Job summary

Goodwill Keystone Area is seeking a reliable Merchandise Processor to support donated goods operations. You will sort, price, tag, stock and rotate merchandise while maintaining safety and quality standards.

This non-exempt role requires flexibility, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and a commitment to courteous, responsive customer service for donors and shoppers. Shifts include evenings and weekends; opportunities to learn warehouse technology and contribute to community programs.

Qualifications

  • Ability to read, write and perform simple math.
  • Must meet qualitative and quantitative performance standards.
  • Work in an open warehouse environment with varied weather and temperatures.
  • Learn and use equipment and technology.
  • Follow verbal instructions and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Process donations (textiles, housewares, electronics, shoes) including sorting, pricing, tagging, stocking and moving product to the sales floor to meet production and sales goals.
  • Organize, recover and rotate the sales floor as needed.
  • Follow quality and production standards set by Goodwill Keystone Area.
  • Track production daily and report to supervisor; stay aware of daily/weekly/monthly goals.
  • Assist Ecommerce by selecting appropriate items for online listings.
  • Provide timely, courteous customer service to donors and shoppers.
  • Support organizational programs and special events.
