MERS/Missouri Goodwill Industries is seeking a Retail Donation Attendant for the Washington, MO location. This hourly full-time role offers a starting rate of $15.50 per hour with opportunities to earn a monthly bonus up to $250 and benefits for qualifying full-time staff.

The position emphasizes friendly donor interactions, responsible handling of items, and efficient merchandising across store areas while upholding safety and dress code policies.

Qualifications

• No degree is required; HS diploma/GED preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, customers, and management.
• Organized and able to interact with a diverse work population.
• Basic addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive customer service, greet donors, assist with donations, and offer thanks and tax receipts.
• Handle donations with care and respect.
• Sort donated/purchased goods into categories (sales floor, seasonal, online, outlet, trash).
• Notify management of hazardous or inappropriate donations.
• Maintain quality and quantity standards while working quickly and steadily.
