Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Middle Tennessee, Inc. is seeking a Donation Express Attendant at Opportunity Campus-Career Solutions. The role focuses on providing hospitality to donors, promptly unloading donations, issuing receipts, and representing Goodwill's mission in daily interactions.

You will sort and pack donations, keep the DEC area clean and organized, assist with daily donation summaries, and help ensure safety and efficiency across donation centers.

Qualifications

• One year of experience working with the public is desired.
• Ability to lift/carry over 50 lbs and push/pull heavy loads.
• Must be able to read, write and perform simple arithmetic.
• Professional demeanor and neat appearance at all times.
• Dependable; able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good interpersonal skills to relate to donors and staff.

Responsibilities

• Exhibit hospitality and high level of customer service when greeting donors and providing receipts.
• Be prompt and consistent in attendance; work scheduled hours.
• Open/close the site as scheduled and manage donations per policy.
• Sort and secure donations; complete daily donation summaries accurately.
• Communicate donor activity and keep DEC area clean and organized.
• Assist transportation staff as needed; attend mandatory meetings.
